5th graders, practice with the information below.

Free Time Activities:

INDOOR ACTIVITIES

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

Chatting, studying, reading, playing computer game, collecting things, doing chores, playing chess, puzzling, playing music, listening to music, playing cards, watching TV, etc…

Playing football, going out, rollerblading, skating, skiing, snowboarding, running, walking, taking the dog for a walk, going shopping, surfing, camping, etc…

Step 2: Interview /Entrevista

What do you do in your free time? Qué haces en tu tiempo libre?

What is your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?

When do you do…….? Cuándo lo haces/practicas/etc…?

Where do you do it? Dónde lo haces?

Who do you do it with? Con quién lo haces?

Why….? Por qué…?

Which activities do you not like? Cuál actividad no te gusta?

What do you think about..? qué piensas de…?

Etc…

Step 3: Likes/Dislikes-Statings and use of connectors

I like……, because…../ me gusta….., porque…..

I don't like…. Because…./ no me gusta porque…

In my opinion………because…./en mi opinión…….. porque

I think … because/ yo pienso que ……porque……

I consider……because/ yo considero que…….porque..

  5. thanks students for your posts. Daniel, the question what do you think...? is always about the activity they ask you to talk. Example: what do you think about playing cards/chess/bowling/etc?
