4th graders, Animal presentation sample

 

1.- Preferences: 

I like tigers because they are cute and tender. They are lonely animals that live in the forest of Asia, and I also like elephants because they are the biggest animal on earth and they are very intelligent.

2. Descriptions:

Tigers have a big head, big claws and big teeth. They are orange with black and white stripes. They are from the feline family. Elephants are very big, they have four legs, two eyes and a big tail. They are grey, they have big ears and a long trunk.

3. Classification:

Tigers are vertebrate, they have and internal skeleton. They are mammals, they have mammary glands, they born by live birth, they are viviparous. Tigers have a respiratory system with lungs. They are carnivore, it means they eat meat. They are walking animals and they are terrestrial.....etc....

4. Comparison:

The elephant is bigger than tiger, the tiger is shorter than elephant. The elephant lives in Africa and the tiger lives in Asia. Tigers are carnivore and elephants are herbivore...

5. Similarities:

Tigers and elephants, both have four legs and tail, both are land animals, both are vertebrates, both have lungs, both are mammals, both are viviparous, both are placentals.....
